Refund policy
You have 30 days after the arrival of your item to return your order for a refund to SMT Commerce Ltd (Trading as GreenGreen Store, hereby referred to as "the store").
- As the buyer, you are responsible to ensure that the item is securely packaged before being returned (box must be secure with no loose movement if moved & also taped sealed; once taped, no content should be able to escape through the packaging in transit) & returned to the Store in the same condition as it was received.
- Where the item was collected with a courier service paid directly by the store, then the store is responsible for the item from the point of collection (provided that the item is deemed securely packaged by the store). Where the item was collected via a courier paid by the store, but not deemed properly packaged by the store, and was lost/damaged subsequently as result, the store is not able to refund. To that end, please package securely (keep a photo record of the packaging before collection, is helpful).
- Where the buyer has used their our own courier to return the item for refund or servicing, then the buyer is solely responsible for the item, until it is safely delivered at the nominated return address by the store. Please insure the delivery appropiately as result, given that the storeis not responsible for loss/damage during transit, where the store has not directly paid for the courier service.
- The buyer is responsible for removing any data on your device (the data will be wiped upon arrival at our site & will not be recoverable).
- The store will issue the refund within 3 business days of receipt (assuming that the item is in a consistent condition). The balance will take additional time to be reflected back in your account. If your item is damaged through use, the store reserves the right to depreciate the value of the item proportionately.
- If a refund is necessary, it will only be issued to the original payment source, for instance the card used to purchase the goods in the first instance; and will not be made until goods are returned safely.
- Excessive return monitoring: the store monitors the account level return continuously. If a buyer's account has higher than average % of return, the store reserves the rights to review the account & issue account closure if required (where future orders placed subsequently, may be cancelled without notice). The store's position, is that should a prospective buyer have product queries before buying, one may simply get in contact (the store is happy to assist with product related queries; however, to be clear, GreenGreen Store cannot support nor facilitate sustained "buy to try" purchasing pattern).
- The store reserve the right to refuse a refund if these patterns are detected: 1) There are signs of customer induced damage (CID). This includes, but is not limited to liquid damage, visible physical damage (dents etc.), damage caused by external electrical issues. 2) Warranty stickers, labels or keys (such as windows keys) have been removed, altered or broken, if the operating system has been changed, the system bios has been changed, hardware has modified, or if the product has been registered with the manufacturer (where applicable, please only register this product once you have fully inspected and are happy with the product).
Record-keeping:
- The items shipped by the store are thoroughly tested & logged for security reasons before shipping. The store will record the item's serial number & condition. Items the store ships will typically have additionally warranty sticker applied, this means the item is identifible to the store.
- Where the item is not received, the store may register the serial with loss and theft databases to help prevent any fraudulent use or reselling of the item; the store is not able to supply serial number before the item is delivered. This is to ensure the privacy of the end-customer.
- All returns are delivered end-to-end to a CCTV audited site. Where an empty box/different item is returned, the store reserves the right to investigate, report & liaise with the relevant authorities (as necessary to recover the items).
